Royal Mail Saturday Parcel Deliveries Being Prioritised
E-Commerce, Fulfilment & Logistics NewsFrom the 02/05/2020 Royal Mail will no longer be delivering letters on a Saturday. This move has been put in place in order to prioritise parcel deliveries to take place on Saturday.
As online sales have surged during the lockdown period, this action will put the service in a much better position to get those deliveries made on time.
The services that will still be in operation on Saturdays are :

- Royal Mail 24 Large Letter
- Royal Mail 48 Large Letter
- Royal Mail 24 Parcel
- Royal Mail 48 Parcel
- Tracked 24
- Tracked 48
- Special Delivery Guaranteed (By 1pm)
This is a temporary measure that will be kept under review.
